I am excited to share my new role as Co-founder and Compositing Lead Instructor at Alpha Chromatica! I wouldn’t be able to take on this role without the exceptional mentors from my experience working in education and at DNEG, ReDefine, Industrial Light & Magic, Crafty Apes, plus other visual effects studios. I am constantly learning from a unique blend of teachers, trainers, coaches, artists, supervisors, managers, actors, writers, directors, and entrepreneurs across industries. As a bridge between great mentors and students, I plan to share lessons not only on how to make good art, but also on the art of living a good life.
Thank you to my former students and colleagues who referred our new online school to individuals looking to jumpstart their careers, and for your words of support regarding my teaching. This has enabled Alpha Chromatica Education (ACE) to receive a top tier list of applicants. I am committed to maintaining your trust and earning theirs. The courage, vision, and dedication already demonstrated by our first students has impressed me deeply.
I can think of no better place than ACE to dive deeper and share my passions for VFX, filmmaking, storytelling, and education. I am delighted for the opportunity to collaborate once again with Ganz Ramalingam in building a new, one-of-a-kind Compositing curriculum that enables students to define and directly pursue their goals. I look forward to meeting my future students, witnessing their development, and sharing their journeys with you.
